Andrew Ward, FT’s Pharmaceuticals Correspondent, was named Commentator of the Year at the European MediScience Awards last night.

The event celebrates the importance of the capital markets to fund growth and innovation, and is the largest annual gathering of private and publicly quoted healthcare, biotech and life science companies in Europe.

The Commentator of the Year award, which is voted by an industry panel, recognizes sharp, perceptive and penetrating commentary on this sector.
