Last night at the annual CIPR Excellence Awards, the Financial Times’ global communications director, Emma Gilpin-Jacobs, was awarded the 2013 CIPR Institute of Directors Annual Prize.
The prize celebrates the achievements of senior public relations practitioners, focusing on the strategic importance of reputation management and the value practitioners bring to their organisations.
Emma was appointed as FT Group Board member in 2006. She is responsible for developing, managing and delivering the FT’s global strategy with specific oversight of external, corporate, brand and internal communications.
