13 November 2020: The Financial Times has been awarded for best international reporting at the 2020 Gerald Loeb Awards for distinguished business and financial journalism.
The Gerald Loeb Awards recognized FT reporters Mehul Srivastava, Tom Wilson, Tim Bradshaw and Robert Smith for their groundbreaking reporting on how WhatsApp was compromised by an Israeli security firm, NSO Group.
Additionally, Lionel Barber, the former editor of the Financial Times has been honoured with the prestigious Gerald Loeb Lifetime Achievement Award. Martin Wolf, FT’s associate editor and chief economics commentator, received this honour last year.
