On Tuesday evening the Financial Times and CNBC hosted their annual nightcap event at the Grandhotel Belvédère in Davos, Switzerland. The reception was co-hosted by FT CEO John Ridding and CNBC President KC Sullivan.

The event attracted more than 300 of the world’s most influential business leaders, politicians, entrepreneurs and media heads. Guests included: President and CEO of Nasdaq, Adena Friedman; CEO of Visa, Charlotte Hogg; CEO of Mastercard, Michael Miebach; CEO of Goldman Sachs International, David Solomon; American business leader, Andy Cohn; CEO of Edelman, Richard Edelman; CNBC anchors Andrew Ross Sorkin, Joe Kernen and Becky Quick.

The FT will have a significant presence at this year’s World Economic Forum. Editor Roula Khalaf and columnists Martin Wolf, Gillian Tett and Gideon Rachman will moderate key sessions. FT Live, the events division of the Financial Times, will host events in Davos focused on economic growth, workforce, crypto and digital assets, cyber security and stakeholder capitalism. The Davos Daily Show will be presented by FT senior business writer Andrew Hill on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday offering a free-to-access round up of the forum’s progress. Each day Hill will talk to other senior FT journalists and guests about the most significant trends from the Forum and share anecdotes from the summit's networking events, parties and dinners.
