13 November 2020: FT Group journalists were honoured in four categories at the State Street UK Institutional Press Awards, which recognise outstanding performance in institutional financial services reporting. 

Three FT Group reporters were named Journalist of the Year in their respective fields: FT Lex writer June Yoon for business market commentary; Ignites Europe senior reporter Ed Moisson for passive investment and indexing; and FT Adviser news editor Carmen Reichman for regulatory issues. In addition, Pensions Expert graduate trainee Oliver Telling received the Award for Best Newcomer.

In a virtual event on Wednesday evening, State Street’s head of Europe, Middle East and Africa Joerg Ambrosius said: “We congratulate all of this year’s shortlisted journalists and winners. In these unprecedented times, we thank them for the vital role they play in covering, analyzing and debating complex issues in financial services reporting.”
