The Financial Times is now available on Apple News in the UK, US and Australia following today’s iOS 9.1 software update.
The FT has long made it a priority to offer FT journalism in a variety of formats, whether on FT.com, through mobile apps or on third party platforms. Users of Apple’s News app will be able to sample a selection of the FT’s world-class journalism without leaving the platform.
FT on Apple News presents another route to discovery for prospective readers, as well as an opportunity to build habit and engagement amongst our existing audience.
FT’s B2C managing director Jon Slade said: “We are pleased to partner with Apple on the launch of its news app, a well-designed product with a focus on quality content. The app allows us to reach a wider audience and gives existing readers more choice in where and how they read the FT.”
