The Financial Times Group has appointed Joanna Levesque as managing director of its media consultancy, FT Strategies.
Levesque will lead FT Strategies’ group of consultants who help organisations develop sustainable growth strategies, drawing on the FT’s own experience of successfully transforming its business model.
Levesque joins FT Strategies from Manifesto Growth Architects, a boutique consultancy, where she spent four years as partner driving customer-led growth for the business. Prior to this, she spent more than two decades at Accenture, where most recently she was managing director of its customer strategy practice, which she led to double-digit growth.
FT chief commercial officer Jon Slade said: “We've proven by working with hundreds of media businesses over the last four years that FT Strategies can drive sustainability and lasting transformation in the sector. Joanna's passion for that mission, coupled with her deep experience in the consulting world, are critical attributes as FT Strategies embarks on its next phase of growth.”
Joanna Levesque said: “I’m really excited to lead FT Strategies for the next chapter of the FT's outstanding consulting business. Our talented team’s work has already helped many news and publishing clients to transform their businesses, and I look forward to bringing our experience more widely to those organisations that need to engage customers with content-driven strategies.”
