Financial Times’ East Africa correspondent Katrina Manson has won the Press Award at the One World Media Awards for her FT Weekend report, Welcome to Mogadishu. The award ceremony was hosted by Jon Snow last night in London.

The awards recognise journalists whose international reporting uncovers stories that “support inclusive development, good governance and democracy worldwide”.
