The Financial Times has been named among the UK’s Best Places to Work in 2024 by Glassdoor, the workplace reviews website. The FT ranked 14 out of 50 with a 4.5 rating, and was the highest-placed media organisation on the list. Winners are determined based entirely on employee feedback shared anonymously on Glassdoor over the past year.

FT global human resources director Sarah Hopkins said: “We’re delighted to be recognised as a top workplace in the UK by Glassdoor. FT employees come from all kinds of backgrounds and work across a huge range of disciplines and locations. We are committed to providing an empowering and welcoming workplace culture that values curiosity and rewards smart, ambitious thinking.”

The FT provides best-in-class employee benefits and an inclusive environment. Examples of our benefits include flexible working, enhanced maternity and paternity leave in all regions, and a range of physical, mental, financial and professional wellbeing support such as gym memberships, professional counselling sessions, and a 24-hour employee wellbeing helpline.
