The Financial Times and newspaper publisher Il Sole 24 Ore have renewed a three-year agreement to publish the Italian edition of HTSI, the FT’s multi-award winning luxury lifestyle magazine.
The FT Weekend magazine, formerly called How to Spend It, rebranded in May 2022 to mark the evolution of a title that, for 28 years, has been a touchstone of luxury and refinement. The Italian version, which has become a benchmark for creativity and high-end lifestyle, has been edited by Nicoletta Polla-Mattiot since its launch in 2014. The publication has a growing international distribution, including an Arabic version which launched in June 2021.
HTSI editor Jo Ellison will continue to work closely with Polla-Mattiot to ensure a seamless Italian language offering to readers that carries all the hallmarks that have won HTSI numerous industry awards.
Jo Ellison said: “We are delighted that HTSI’s unparalleled editorial content will continue to reach even more readers through our collaboration with Il Sole 24 Ore. HTSI Italy represents a key part of the FT’s global growth strategy in the luxury and lifestyle sector.”
Federico Silvestri, general manager, media and business, at the 24 ORE Group, said: "The three-year renewal of our partnership with Financial Times is a source of great pride: it reaffirms the value and success of a collaboration that has lasted since 2014 and has steadily become a broader alliance between our organisations.”
