18 June: Today, Investors Chronicle won four top prizes, including News Provider of the Year and Journalist of the Year, at the 2020 CFA UK Journalism Awards.
Investors Chronicle, a weekly magazine for private investors published by the FT Group, was recognised by the judges for “making the most significant overall contribution to the advancement of investor education over the past 12 months.”
Associate editor Phil Oakley was named Journalist of the Year for three articles: Quality without growth is a bad mix; Back to basics; and Should investors avoid acquisitive companies?
The title took home additional awards in the ESG/Sustainability category for the article Green is good, by Algy Hall, Alex Newman, Nilushi Karunaratne and Alex Janiaud; and in the Value/Transparency category for Four simple ways to fix audits, by Steve Clapham and Algy Hall.
