The Financial Times has won two 2022 Publisher Podcast Awards.
News Briefing, the FT’s daily rundown of the most important global business stories hosted by Marc Filippino, won Best News Podcast.
Working It, which helps listeners understand the new world of work, won Best Lifestyle Podcast. Hosted by Isabel Berwick, Working It is also a newsletter, and the first joint podcast and newsletter from the FT, building a community and conversation about work, life and what the future holds.
The Publisher Podcast Awards awards recognise the podcasting success of publishers and media organisations. From over 220 entries and a shortlist of 124 podcasts, judges marked the podcasts on a range of factors, including production quality, how well the podcast reflected the publisher’s brand, and growth strategy.
The FT was also nominated in five other categories:
Best Commercial Strategy: FT Weekend
Best Podcast Launch: FT Weekend
Best Entertainment & Culture Podcast: FT Weekend
Best Limited Series: Behind the Money: Inside ESG
